As described, I have not tried it yet with the water and the cloth but I did brush it normal and it brings out enough hair.

The best brush i purchased so far. ✅️💯My cat has mid/short fur but it collects it very nicely,and the mid wet part cleanes the build up dirt, and catches the hair so it doesnt fly all around while i brush him(i put water in it). easy to remove the hair. I'm very happy with it!🥰🥰
